Cold Laser Therapy
Cold laser therapy is low-intensity laser that stimulates healing while using low levels of light. The non-thermal photons of light that are emitted from the laser pass through up to 2-5 centimeters below the skins layers. Once the light energy reaches the target area, it is absorbed and initiates a series of events in the cell that can results in normalizing damaged or injured tissue, a reduction in pain, inflammation and speeds up healing.
