Animal Chiropractic

Chiropractic is an all natural, gentle yet highly effective method of treating many joint, muscular and skeletal problems that are very common in dogs and cats.  Chiropractic treats subluxations (the misalignment of vertebrae) and other problems through adjustments.  These adjustments improve mobility, function and alleviate physical stress, strain and pain by removing the source of the symptoms and letting the body ultimately heal itself.

Animal chiropractic can be an amazing alternative to medications and surgeries, but all problems should still be discussed with your veterinarian first. Chiropractic is not a substitution for standard veterinary care.

Some conditions that animal chiropractic can help:

  • Subluxations
  • Hip dysplasia
  • Stiffness
  • Muscle spasms
  • Behavioral problems
  • Nervousness
  • Osteoarthritis
  • Urinary incontinence
  • Forelimb lameness
  • Post-surgery care and recovery
  • Neck and back injuries
  • Repetitive use injuries
  • WELLNESS! (Even if your pet has no symptoms, chiropractic can help prevent problems from occurring in the first place!)

Some signs that your pet should see a chiropractor:

  • Trouble climbing stairs
  • Walking with a limp
  • Trouble laying down and standing up
  • Decreased mobility
  • Inability to jump
